This morning, another engineer said the laptop charger was missing because they're using the laptop tomorrow for a presentation. He asked me and I'm just like, 'boy, I don't even use the item myself'. With my position, I'm kind of expected to find things and solutions, so I helped him look for it and it was nowhere to be found.

I asked Monica, bc Monica did a presentation with it last and Monica said he didn't know where it was and then 5 hrs later, BAM! FOUND IT in the same box the projector was in. I set up the room for a presentation rehearsal.

Fucken Monica came around and saw it, "So did u find the charger?"
NO FUCKEN SHIT! I wanted to say, but I kindly said, "Yes"
Monica: "I knew it was there this morning"

WTF, U FUCKEN BITCH!

Taking fucken credits for my work that I asked you and you wanted nothing to do with it. Now that it's shining, you're going to add in, "I knew it wasn't lost." GTFO

Monica: Why is my bill $100?
Me: Well, did you read the charges? or are you just reading a number?
Monica: X is $xx.xx and Y is $xx.xx
Me: So is something wrong with those charges?
Monica: Why are they charging for equipment
Me: That's your phone. So unless you paid $700 up front, which is unlikely, that's a correct charge.

Monica: What's your schedule?
Me: lots of receipts to enter
Monica: Do you have time to print something for me? It'll be 30 mins prob
Me: ...I just have a lot of receipts
Monica: Oh ok that's fine. I can do it too, but I thought you could do it faster

OMFG...why the fuck would you ask me to do something for you when you clearly have time. Stop fucking talking to me when you don't need to. And yes, if you can do it, why not? If I do that, what are you gonna do? No one is going to do my work if I do your work, asshole.

3.5 hours later

Monica: Can you look up XYZ's license?
Me: ... I don't have his credentials (dob, add, ssn)
Monica: You don't need to
Me: ... ok, then why are you asking me to do it? (if it's sooooofa king easy)
Monica: I just want to know if you know how to do it
Me: ... ok, I'm busy at the moment, so I don't know why you would ask me (since you have nothing to do). Not just that, I've looked up all the ones before, so I (obviously) know how to do it.
Monica: Ok, I'll do it

This fucker. SOOOOFA KING stupid.

30 minutes later

Monica: Yeah, you were right. I couldn't do it. I was able to look up mine because my information was on my computer
Me: ... YAS, I was trying to tell you that...

Today was the lamest thing ever (like usual). John's been on my case about the website and making it showed up in Google and shiiiit. I finally got it to show up on Google last week and now we are dotting the t's and i's. He's gotten soo many people involved in this website shiiiit. First, it was the IT team we worked with, then me, then my sister, then another IT team, and finally this guy he knew a long time ago. Every time was the request for pretty much a 100% immediate turn-around. Like, Monica, give it some time.

Alright, so when I got the site going with some photos, he started suggesting things already. First of all, Monica (might just be the new name), it's not a finished item, but being the kind me, I let him rant so he can GTFO. and GTFO was what he did.

A week later, he said one of the photo was a bad choice because it stated it was from Google and his theory is that by doing so, the audience will think it's just a random Google photo. You know what's random, a cat! A cat photo is random, but ok, whatever, I don't wanna argue with you because arguing with someone stupid, they will beat you with experience.

So I was tire of this shit and John getting on my case, so I told him, "Lets go look at your photo choices, and YOU pick the photo YOU would like."

Opened the photos files, went through 3 albums, and omg, guess what this little b picked? The exact same photo :D Yes, B, that was my choice and it was a great one because you picked the exact same one. But you had nothing better to do with your life, so you had to waste time talking to me about what photos to use, only to end up picking the exact same one.

Once he realized that his choice was MINE!!!!!!!, he changed his argument. It's the same argument as last time, just rewording shit to feel good. Because you see, IIII used "Credit: GoogleEarth" and now he wants it to say "Staff Experience, Photo by GoogleEarth." Well, you SOB, the "staff experience" part is the most fucken redundant shit because obviously, why would we have irrelevant photos? But maybe you're kinda slow, you're doing it for your kind.

hahahaha. Before I start this blog, lets just start laughing!

I haven't posted because I've been busy with work and life, or I just tell my sister and she laughs for me. Today's story is funny! It always is. If you haven't read Temperature, then you are missing out on the entire comedy of this post. I'm laughing as I'm typing/telling this story.

About 2 weeks ago John came in my office and changed my temperature to -2 degrees. As you can tell by the univited invasions, I happened to think of the funniest thing to do in response at that moment! hahaha, get ready!! The moment he left the room, I went back and did +2 instead!! hahaha! John will now think he left like a boss that was in control of my temperature (and job and lyfe). No! Not today! and everyday from now on! I am in control of the temperature (and my job) in my room!

I think the deeper story to this is respect and communication. It's just not about changing temperatures that pisses me off. It's coming to my room and not asking my preference. That's lack of communication on his end. Then changing the temperature without my consent is no respect. My opinion and voice feels violated every time he does this and I was simply tired of it. Fuck you, John. I work for you, but you still need to respect me (and not control the temperature in my room).

OMFGGGG. I HATE RE-DOING WORK, especially when I've tried to prevent and already forecasted the disaster.

Alright, I originally had a template for business cards. But John was so smart, he suggested to change them. Alright, I'm "here to cooperate," so I went with it. I guess this incident just means I need to really stand my ground and speak for myself because I'm the one cleaning the mess and blog about it later.

Today we worked on a loan application. Hindsight, I guess my background as a bank teller helps me scan through these forms (and all forms) much faster. John has to literally read every single thing. Obviously, the first fields are the usual: name, address, phone, email.

Then we got to the business description part. He usually has no idea when he works on these applications, and business in general, and so he waits for my lead. Wait? So much for being the owner. So you're paying yourself double, but I'm doing the work? That's what being a business owner is anyway. What is your responsibility and expertise? But it's ok. I'm not here to count your blessings.

It's really annoying how often I see John. He comes in my office for everything single little thing...wait, that's my job. But complaining is what this blog is for too :D Today, he came in to ask if I had those highlighters with the sticky pad. He also had the item with him too. Then he asked me to open it.

...Ok, can't you just do it yourself?

When we first settled in the office, the temperature was set at 68-70 degrees. This means that if the temperature falls under 68, it'll get heated to 70. If it gets to 70 and increases, it'll be cooled to 68. Basically, that's the range and you can add or subtract within 2 degrees of those (66 and 72). So every morning, it was 68 degrees and rises to 70 by noon. John didn't like this at all. He wanted it t be 70 (73 to be specific) by the time he came in, 8:45 a.m. So he asked me to go to every single temperature control and press ++ to increase it by 2. Ok sure, no big deal. I did that 4/5 days of the week until we decided to talk to the building owner to simply change our settings to 71-73. Problem solved? I thought it was.

John set up a meeting today with important people in the industry. There are only three of us with the (start-up) company. He always tells everyone he has an office manager, me, who is great at what she does, which is (of course) 100% accurate. That's a blessing but a curse at the same time.

I shouldn't complain, but that's what this blog is for.

With these important people coming in, he wants me to relocate my shit to the front area for the day, like a receptionist. It's really inconvenient because I've settled in my office for two months now, and I really like my privacy. I can still be a receptionist without actually sitting where traditional receptionists are. Not just that, he needs my help every 10 minutes, so now we will spend more time walking than working. In addition to that, I do side HR duties, which means a lot of confidential, so I think I am entitled to an actual office.

A package for two construction books came in today. My boss, *JOHN, brought it to me and told me to open it. He knew it wasn't for me, yet he asked me to open it. WHYYYYY???!!! Why am I opening a package that is clearly not for me. Anyway, I get pay enough to play along and open this crap, so I opened it.

John: Oh, it's the manuals you ordered! (NO SHIT...)
Me: Being nice me, "Yes, that was fast."
John: Ok, put it on Jake's desk.

WTF???!!! ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS PUT THAT IN HIS OFFICE AND LET HIM OPEN IT HIMSELF.

But ok. whatever. I'm not here to be your friend. I'm just here for payday.
